12th Grade Consultation Packages

Premium Consultation Package*

(Services include up to 12 meetings, as well as all research and communication.)
Available till November 1

Services offered will include:

• Meeting regularly with the student to discuss college planning.
• Serving as a mentor to the young people I work with to encourage them to make intelligent choices.
• Being available via phone or e-mail for assistance as needed.
• Meeting with student & parent to discuss student academic profile & criteria to be used in the development of abbreviated college list.
• Discussing the results of student questionnaire to help determine criteria.
• Meeting with student to present & discuss college list.
• Helping student plan for further educational testing if needed.
• Providing information and resources about college “fit” and how to evaluate schools.
• Offering guidance and coaching about presenting the student's best self to colleges via applications, campus visits and/or interviews.
• Reviewing college applications and essays.
• Providing information about scholarships and financial aid.
• Sharing information relevant to student athletes.
• Helping the student process information and choices related to college admission and provide information about the transition to college.

Limited Consultation Package (8 hours)

Services offered may include:

• Meeting with student and parent to gather pertinent information and set goals.
• Meeting with the student to discuss how to generate a college list.
• Providing information and resources about college “fit” and how to evaluate schools.
• Offering guidance and coaching about presenting the student's best self to colleges via applications, campus visits and/or interviews.
• Basic review of up to 3 unique college applications and essays.
• Sharing information relevant to student athletes.
• Helping the student process information and choices related to college admission and provide information about the transition to college.

(There will be an additional charge of $25 for each unique application/essay above 3.)

Additional hours are available on a per hour and space available basis.

Cost: $900

Services offered:

• One-on-one work with the student to identify his/her personally strongest subject for up to 3 essays. 
  
• Critique and correction of drafts.
• Review and critique of short answers and/or supplements for up to 6 applications.
  
• Final proofreading of application essays and short answers
• Review of completed applications for accuracy and completeness

Cost: $500   (There will be an additional charge of $25 for each    unique application/essay above 3.)

Additional hours are available on a per hour and space available basis.

Basic Essay & Application Review*      (3 hours)

Services offered:

• Critique of up to 3 application essays
• Review of short answers for up to 3 unique applications and/or supplements.
  
• Proofreading of application essays and short answers
• Review of completed applications for accuracy and completeness

 Cost: $325   (There will be an additional charge of $25 for each    unique application/essay above 3.)

Additional hours are available on a per hour and space available basis.

Services will include:

• Meeting with student & parent to discuss student academic profile & criteria to be used in the development of the college list.
• Discussing the results of student questionnaires used to help determine criteria.
• Researching colleges & compile a detailed list with relevant information/links for each school
• Meeting with student to present & discuss college list.

Hourly Consultation

For students who just need a little help with their applications, would like someone to look things over for them, or would like to sit down with someone who can answer their questions about college, Hourly Consultation may be the perfect answer.  

*All packages include customized consultation services including personal meetings, phone calls and any college or educational research performed on behalf of the student.
